In Northwest Arkansas, a love story began in September 2022. Patrick and Kaitlyn were both part of a Cross Church’s small group community night at Wilson Park in Fayetteville, AR. They were introduced by mutual friends and spent the whole night exchanging laughs.

Later that week, they began talking more—texting, sharing stories, and getting to better know each other. By late October, Patrick asked Kaitlyn to go on their first date, a haunted house in Cave Springs, Arkansas.

Just a few weeks later, on November 15, 2022, Patrick knew it was time to take the next step. He officially asked Kaitlyn to be his girlfriend and she said "Yes".

Over the next two years, Patrick and Kaitlyn’s relationship continued to grow. Whether they were cheering on the Razorbacks, traveling to Silver Dollar City, or exploring Northwest Arkansas, their bond grew stronger. They cherished their time together and especially loved the community around them—the friends, the faith, and the shared experiences that made Northwest Arkansas home.

As their two-year anniversary approached in November 2024, Patrick had one more surprise planned. He took Kaitlyn to Osage Park in Bentonville, Arkansas. Surrounded by the fall leaves and the breathtaking view of the lake, Patrick got down on one knee. He asked Kaitlyn to marry him and was responded with an excited "Yes".

As they plan their wedding for May 25, 2025, at the Barn at the Springs in Springdale, Arkansas, Patrick and Kaitlyn are filled with anticipation for the future—a future where they will continue to explore Northwest Arkansas, cheer for the Razorbacks, and, most importantly, walk in faith together. Their Northwest Arkansas love story is just beginning, and they are eager to see where it will lead, hand in hand.
